Situated in the beautiful setting of the Avill Valley in the Exmoor National Park, West Somerset, we are 2 miles from medieval Dunster & 4 miles from Minehead. Duddings 4-star accommodation consists of a timeless 16th century thatched Longhouse that sleeps 12 along with 11 classic and spacious cottages with varying numbers of beds to best suit your needs whether it be the Cleeve apartment in the South Barn- sleeping 2, or the Stable Cottages accommodating up to 16/18 people in 8 bedrooms. Duddings is the ideal place to holiday as a family, with your Children and dogs, as a couple or even in a large group

Facilities - The Somerset Cottages here at Duddings are well equipped with facilities to entertain the whole family, including a new heated indoor swimming pool & spa bath, a hard tennis court, and a games room including table tennis, pool table and table football. Other facilities include a trampoline, football goal, play area with swings, a slide, fireman’s pole and assault course. Incorporated into the estate is 9 acres of land to be explored at your leisure, providing the perfect picnic area with a safe river.

Pet Friendly - Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Duddings - we know how important it is for you to bring your most faithful friend with you on holiday. Many beaches are dog friendly, and there are superb places to explore in the stunning Exmoor countryside.

Short breaks - We are open all year. Weekend breaks (Fri-Mon) & Mid-week breaks (Mon-Fri) are available outside of the main school holidays.

4-star rated - Our Exmoor holiday cottages are inspected each year by VisitEngland for the range of facilities and the quality standards that we offer, and we have achieved a rating of 4 stars for the last 15 years. Selworthy Cottage has recently been given a 4 Star Gold Award.
